i am now on my fourth washing machine - seem to need a new one every 10 years or so - although this one has lasted a little longer, largely due to the fact that i had been so tardy about shopping for a replacement long, long after i needed to!
anyway the new one has arrived and been plumbed in and it works!! and, lord!! what a flashy litle number it is!!! i am still coming to grips with it, having to consult the manual each time i use it. well in fact it's a washer/dryer and has all manner of flashing lights, 'personalisation'(!!) options, rapid functions, super washes, delay timers etc. etc. and when it starts up, honestly it looks like a space rocket with all lights blazing! still it is very quiet - even when it spins - so i expect we shall settle down together very well by-and-by.
