my poor cat tullus has been poorly
he was limping a little on thursday night when i arrived home but he didn't want to show me his paw and then he seemed better friday morning, and when i came home from work and then bad again at bed time.
i took him to the vet on saturday and he stayed in overnight while they had a look at him (he wasn't at all happy with any of us!)
i was able to collect him early sunday afternoon by which time he had been sedated and x-rayed, had his paw shaved and been bathed and medicated.
i brought him home, opened his basket and he shot off into the shrubbery ~ very very speedily despite only being able to run on three paws!
poor tully, not the most sociable of cats where non-residents (ie everyone bar me) are concerned so he didn't come back until all my visitors had left.
i managed to bathe his foot ~ though he really didn't like it and gave him his medication (mixed in with his supper so he didn't mind that!!) and he passed a peaceful night.
i'm pleased to say he seems very much better now, the swelling has almost gone and he is walking on the paw again.
tomorrow we go back to the vet's for a quick check up ~ but i think he will be ok
poor tully ~ and he's such a timid cat!

Cats Stella and Jessie send Tully best wishes for a speedy recovery, and Jessie says "hold out for tuna."
